While skylight windows enhance the look of a room, they can also be a nuisance for both temperature and light control. Handy Andy offers a variety of solutions to address these challenges.

Types of Skylights Shades:

Light blocking shades turn day into night. These shades are made of a triple layer roller shade fabric or energy efficient cellular pleated shades.

Light diffusing shades will block out the direct sunlight and glare associated with skylight windows. These skylight treatments can be fabricated from operable, pleated, cellular fabrics, or from sunscreen that can be operated manually with a pole or automatically with a motorized remote control or wall switch.

Tilt-only 1” mini blinds can be an economical solution. These blinds do not draw up or down but the slats can be manually titled with a pole.
